Inclusive Minds Plus – Legal Disclaimer
Inclusive Minds Plus provides independent educational support, SEN tutoring, mentoring, and behaviour guidance for children and young people. All services are delivered on an educational, supportive, and non‑clinical basis. Inclusive Minds Plus does not diagnose any medical, psychological, or neurodevelopmental condition, nor does it offer therapy, counselling, or clinical treatment. It is not a replacement for CAMHS, NHS services, or private clinicians, and it does not provide medical advice or intervention. Parents and carers should seek guidance from qualified health professionals where diagnosis or clinical treatment is required.
Inclusive Minds Plus does not replace statutory school support, EHCP provision, or the legal responsibilities of schools or local authorities. All support is supplementary and designed to complement existing provision, working alongside schools, SENCOs, and families. All information on this website is provided in good faith and reflects professional experience, trauma‑informed practice, SEND‑aware approaches, and lived experience in education and behaviour support. However, every child is unique, and parents should use their own judgement and consult professionals where appropriate.
Inclusive Minds Plus is not responsible for decisions made by schools or agencies, outcomes outside the scope of sessions, external services or organisations, or changes in educational policy or local authority procedures. All website content is intended for general information, parent understanding, and educational guidance. It is not legal, clinical, or therapeutic advice.
Safeguarding & Child Protection Commitment
Inclusive Minds Plus is committed to the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection. The safety, dignity, and wellbeing of every child is the foundation of all work undertaken. All sessions prioritise emotional and physical safety, and children are treated with respect, patience, and understanding. Boundaries are clear, consistent, and age‑appropriate, behaviour is understood as communication, and trauma‑informed practice guides all interactions.
Inclusive Minds Plus maintains appropriate professional boundaries, confidentiality in line with safeguarding law, transparent communication with parents and schools, and safe working practices in all environments. Inclusive Minds Plus works closely with parents and carers, SENCOs and teachers, pastoral teams, and local safeguarding teams where required. Support is collaborative, not isolated.
Any safeguarding concerns will be taken seriously, handled sensitively, and reported following statutory guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), local authority safeguarding procedures, and national child protection legislation. Inclusive Minds Plus recognises the vulnerability of SEND children, the importance of emotional safety, and the need for predictable, calm, relational support. Safeguarding includes emotional, sensory, and relational safety as well as physical protection.
Code of Professional Ethics
Inclusive Minds Plus is built on trust, respect, and a deep commitment to the wellbeing of children with SEND. Every decision begins with the question “What About The Children?” Their emotional safety, dignity, and development always come first. This includes prioritising regulation over compliance, understanding behaviour as communication, adapting support to the child’s pace, and creating a safe, predictable environment.
Inclusive Minds Plus respects neurodiversity by celebrating differences, avoiding pathologising behaviour, supporting children as they are, rejecting “fixing” or forced conformity, and using strengths‑based approaches. Children are not problems to solve; they are individuals to understand. Inclusive Minds Plus uses a trauma‑informed approach, recognising that past experiences shape behaviour, that children need safety before learning, and that calm, predictable responses reduce distress. Connection comes before correction, protecting emotional wellbeing.
Inclusive Minds Plus maintains clear session structure, safe working practices, confidentiality, appropriate communication, and respect for family privacy. Professional boundaries protect both the child and the practitioner. Inclusive Minds Plus collaborates with families, schools, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external professionals. The goal is to support the child, not replace existing provision or undermine school staff.
Inclusive Minds Plus commits to honesty and integrity, making no unrealistic promises, offering no judgement or pressure, and maintaining transparent communication, realistic expectations, and evidence‑informed practice. Trust is earned through consistency and honesty. Inclusive Minds Plus recognises and respects the work of TAs, teachers, and school staff. Many TAs are highly skilled and dedicated, many were employed long before agencies introduced degree requirements, and they have been essential to inclusion. Teachers face overwhelming pressures, and many NQTs and ECTs leave due to workload and lack of support. Inclusive Minds Plus supports schools and works alongside them; it does not criticise or replace them.
